Double Smile Line and Shadow French - Nail Design Tutorial

Hi Duck in today’s video I am going to be doing a set of bespoke nails on a real client and she’s having quite a long set!

We have already done the prep and fit the tips we are doing a ballerina set today and I have blended in the Step between the tip and the natural nail I have given the tip a buff over and then cleaned it with some clean-up solution on a lint-free pad.

Now I’m going in with my acrylic placing down my first bead that will form the smile line and then I can place a bead behind that to create the cuticle area.

On the next finger, I do the same thing using white acrylic but all with one bead of acrylic.

Once those have had a chance to set I'll file that smile line wall to get that nice and sharp and then I'll remove any dust using the clean-up solution on a lint-free pad then I can apply gel polish to that wall and here I’m using Lily and also the Lily liner brush to get into those hard to reach spots ill cure that and then I can place the white acrylic after that and bring that down through the free edge.

Then I will be placing some shell into this design so I'll pick out some pieces that I like and break them into smaller parts then I can place those into the acrylic then I'll take an A&A Glitter that I have Mirror Ball Mega Mix and ill place some on that on to the nail with the shell.

I'll stick with this theme throughout the rest of the set adding some double smile lines and sticking with the Shell, mirrorball megamix, and Lily gel polish design language and I'll encapsulate this set with the Glass slipper.

Now I can file over this design ill start by using my e-file with my purple Swarovski bit to remove any bulk form the nail and then I can switch out to my hand file and perfect that shape and then I can buff over and make everything smooth then ill go over these with a coat of unicorn horn to add some sparkle and then I can seal everything in with the Gloss topcoat and that’s it!
