As we approach the end of our trilogy of documentaries, the last place on our list to show you all is a village in Northern Cyprus called Akincilar, formerly known as Louroujina. It is the birthplace of both Rami, who is a key character in the novel The Only Way We Knew, along with his wife Lucy.

We wanted to show you this village so that when it is mentioned in the book, you guys will be able to picture it in your heads and be able to visualise it even more. We also wanted to show the contrast between life in London (specifically Bermondsey and Deptford) and life in a small village like Louroujina.
