I'm presenting the projects within the framework of a walk around drizzly Manchester city centre starting at Piccadilly Station and ending near Manchester town hall.

I include a one-minute humorous editorial on the words on the word 'home' and others words, as well as explanations of terms used in construction, such as 'plant', 'BREEAM', topping out and groundbreaking.

I propose a possible 'Code of Merit' on buildings, based on my opinions and those of viewers.

We look at new constructio, proposed and in progress, along Great Ancoats Street. Demolition of the shopping centre and Graeme House in Chorlton, a new residential project retaining part of a church and focused on health and well-being, renovations to Salford Central Station, Manchester's biggest office building in Spinningfield opposite Paddington Bear is about to be refurbished. St Michaels One is fully let well in advance of its completion. I also include a one-minute humorous editorial on the words we use for the place where we live, and I explain topping out, groundbreaking and BREEAM.
