A Master Class in Retro Horror; The many faces of Splatterhouse 2!

Hello, Internet and WELCOME to Retro Nick Relics! The show where I scour the Internet, to find all the weird stuff YOU have never played and give my 2-bit opinion on these 8 through 32-bit… relics.

People were so stoked for my review of Splatterhouse on the Turbografx-16 that I had to go BACK, to the mansion! Or rather, the backup mansion or "Shin Splatterhouse" as it's known in Japan, because I'm reviewing Splatterhouse 2! Or Splatterhouse Part 2, as it's known in its native Japan.

Rick returns 3 months following his adventure in the West mansion, to try and rescue his girlfriend, Jennifer. The terror masks beckons him, promising that she lives and that he must find her in the void through a portal hidden in a secret second house, or Shin Splatterhouse, located on an island in the middle of a lake near the ruins of the West Mansion.

We also look at light regional differences and the classic mask hack by Fusaru.
