OUR 17.5 HOUR JOURNEY TO MEXICO: London to Cancun | VLOG #13

We journeyed 17.5 hours from London to Cancun, Mexico which resulted in us staying awake for longer than 23+ hours! We were so truly exhausted by the end but a massive thanks to British Airways for our comfortable long haul flight.

And we're on the road again back to Latin America where Tom and I first met over a year ago! We've left our reasonably quiet life back in Cornwall to embrace the digital nomad lifestyle and grow our Youtube channel whilst travelling around Central and South America.

Leaving Cornwall on Thursday 21st of October we spent a few days in London running around saying goodbyes, collecting the last few things we needed and sending Emily's British winter clothes home before our 5.45am alarm on Tuesday 26th which signalled it was time to leave England.

We trained it to the airport and boarded our 11-hour flight from London to Cancun. When we arrived we stripped down, because despite being winter it was really hot, and caught the local bus to the hotel district. After we got off the bus and a short walk we finally made it to our hostel - MayanMonkey! And boy was it beautiful! It was right on the water and had all the luxuries of a modern hostel with the smallest price tag (you can find the link below!)

It was finally time to rest, recoup, relax and for Tom to recover ALL after staying awake for another 5 hours to try and beat the horrendous jet lag! 😅
