30th August saw the Leyland Society of Model Engineers (LSME) hold their first ever LNER Rally as a result of their highly successful annual LMS Rally held earlier in the year.

With an open invite, open to all 3 1/2", 5" and 7 1/4" gauge models, any LNER loco could attend that had a valid boiler certificate and they came! With no less than 5 B1s and a whole other host of other locos including an A1, a P2 and a C1 making it a great event all round.
