Starting Our New Life in the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 Moving from Canada to the Caribbean. Cabarete 🏝

In this week's video we're talking all about our move from Canada to the Dominican Republic for the winter. It's our first ever Christmas away from Canada and we're going to be like "Snowbirds" this year and entirely escape the Canadian winter while making Cabarete, Dominican Republic our new home.

In the video we give you a first glimpse of Cabarete, including the beach, the town and our apartment. We walk around and discuss how we got to the position of being able to slow travel. We go back into our story of quitting our jobs and setting ourselves up to work remotely and travel more.

We make a couple of stops along the way for Mojitos at a bar called Voy Voy and also delicious ice cream at Bon.
