Описание к видео ⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ R17/R21/R22 Continuous Welded Rail cars and R32s leaving NYC to be Scrapped

Here we see a pair of R32s, as well as the two retired R17/R21/R22 Continous Welded Rail trains, being transferred off of MTA property and then by NYNJ Rail from the South Brooklyn Railway 2nd Avenue Yard to NYNJ Rail's 65th Street Yard. NYNJ rail operates street-running trackage over 1st Avenue in South Brooklyn. Once they arrive at 65th Street Yard, they'll be transloaded to flatcars and brought out of the city to Ohio for scrapping. This is one of the longest trains we have seen running down 1st Avenue in a LONG time!

Enjoy this rare view of the end of an NYC Subway car's life!
