R32s Street Running: Scrap Subway Cars Were Moved by NYNJ Rail.

Описание к видео R32s Street Running: Scrap Subway Cars Were Moved by NYNJ Rail.

(See CHAPTERS AT the END of this DESCRIPTION.)
NYNJ Rail interchanged with the South Brooklyn Railway on a frigid Monday morning. They picked-up the first four R32 type subway cars to be removed from NYC Transit (Authority) property for scrap. They took those down First Avenue, through the Brooklyn Army Terminal, and into Sixty-Fifth Street Yard. The following week, those R32s were separated from their trucks, placed atop flat-cars, and floated across Upper New York Bay to New Jersey. This was the first move of what should be the way the rest of the R32s are removed from the property.
