Wuthering Waves (2024) - Part 83 (Jiyan's Companion Story Part 2)

Hmmmm... I mean, it does the bare minimum of a good Character Story, but the structure of the story is flawed.

There's no big payoff in the end when Jiyan thank you because it was not built up. It doesn't feel like this issue is personal to him. It's just one of the random issues he found on his job, one of those "oh, yeah... I have that job I haven't done in a while!" instead of "this issue has been bothering me for a long time."

If this story started off with Jiyan being melancholic all the time, then the story would be much much better. We solved Jiyan's personal issues.
