Exploring Turtle Cay Marina, Nombre de Dios, Panama

Описание к видео Exploring Turtle Cay Marina, Nombre de Dios, Panama

We stopped in Turtle Cay, a tiny marina just west of Kuna Yala, so that we could get a replacement Starlink dish shipped to us. It is wonderfully isolated, being three miles away from the nearest paved road. There are just a handful of people here - the dockmaster, groundskeepers that live nearby, and a half-dozen people that work in a nearby restaurant and small hotel. Most of the boats here are buttoned-down for storage, their owners away during the rainy season.

We've enjoyed the company of new friends from South Africa, England, Scotland, the Netherlands, Russia, Mexico, Brazil, France, Canada, and the US. There's a wide range of backgrounds: a mechanical engineer, a cruise ship worker, two herpetologists, an attorney, a software developer, a flight attendant, and more. We've met crews of the following sailboats: Tanagra, Manō, Gilana, Tiger Lilly, Breeze'N, Fickle, Kismet, Macnatee, Blue Horizon.
