The Ruins of Fort Sherman

Описание к видео The Ruins of Fort Sherman

Fort Sherman was a US Army base built in the early 1900s to protect the northern entrance to the Panama Canal. Along with the canal, the United States turned over the fort to the Panamanian government in 1999, who predictably let it the majority of the buildings fall into ruin and be reclaimed by the jungle. We saw the same in Panama City, ableit in an urban environment - acre after acres of US-built structures abandoned and in ruin.

In this video, you'll hear some interesting birds, howler monkeys, and white-faced capuchin monkeys. (and you'll see that I misspelled "Caribbean")
