Lectric XP Lite tackles the Tour d Whidbey Metric Century

Описание к видео Lectric XP Lite tackles the Tour d Whidbey Metric Century

Bit of a long video but the scenery is definitely worth it, skip around if wanting to look for any specific details. Really had a great ride with the Lectric and my son on his Bafang powered bike to accompany me, truly enjoyed checking out the different course as compared to the half century we usually ride on past events that cover the North Whidbey area. The apple pie I purchased in Freeland was really worth it as well as supporting the local business. Thanked all the volunteers at each of the aid stations for the assistance they gave along with encouragement.
Kept a close watch on the battery levels as to how much current was drawn and where the battery would drop down to on each of the steep climbs. Tried to get some of the footage to highlight the miles and voltage levels together as it relates to just the 20 amp/hr battery in use. The lowest level the voltage dropped to was 50 volts by the end of the route, even on the hills. All throughout the course, the power was always available with no lack of on the 300 watt motor and even with my 195 lbs along with the added 15 lbs of battery, doesn't hold back getting the XP Lite up to speed and maintaining the cruise. Would like to get in some additional longer test rides before the riding season slowly comes to a close to get an idea of how much range is actually useable with this battery, might surprise me. Just make note that the modification might void warranties if damage is experienced as a result of changes to the original setup. Take this into account before attempting.
As this particular bike I'm utilizing works out amazingly well, will probably be getting it set back to a stock setup when my daughter starts to use it during her stay in college where the smaller stock battery will suffice.
