Colombia Birding Adventure: Diverse Avian Wonders | Episode 2

During our 15-day trip in August 2023, we visited 14 hotspot regions and spotted an amazing 411 bird species. Along the way, we also encountered breathtaking scenery and made wonderful connections with people.
In this episode, we'll spend a full day exploring the Choco Lowlands in San Cipriano, followed by half a day discovering the wetland ecosystems of Laguna de Sonso. Next, we'll head north to Otún Quimbaya, part of the Fauna and Flora Sanctuary, in search of the legendary Hooded Pitta.

The whole video series will be split into four episodes, and this is the second one.
A bird name followed by ⓔ indicates that the bird is endemic to Colombia.
The video includes some birding spots and bird species information for reference.
