How to fit MET models with complex GxE variance structures for better outcomes

Описание к видео How to fit MET models with complex GxE variance structures for better outcomes

In this webinar, we will discuss and illustrate fitting Multi-Environment Trial (MET) models with complex Genotype-by-Environment (GxE) variance structures using ASReml-R. Dr Salvador Gezan will walk us through the workflow and required statistical elements to perform single and two-stage analyses. The webinar will offer some suggestions for improving outcomes by successfully fitting complex variance-covariance structures. Furthermore, we will look at extensions when evaluating GxE with enhanced plots from MET models, including Biplots, and additional output for factor analytic (FA) structures with a focus on the generation of genotype-specific plots. By the end of the webinar, we want to show you that fitting complex MET models improves the accuracy of your analyses and the information obtained from your trials.
