Unlocking the full potential: Application of Random Regression Models in Plant Breeding (Webinar)

During this session, we explore the process of fitting a random regression model using ASReml-R. The dataset we will use originates from several consecutive repeated measures of the same plants.

Throughout the webinar, we demonstrate the definition of increasingly complex models to effectively model the trajectories of each individual genotype while incorporating some form of temporal correlation modelling. By obtaining different summary statistics for each genotype (using predictions, BLUPs, or functions of parameters), we can assist with the selection of outstanding genotypes based on their distinct trajectory patterns.
