Hey folks! Today Mr What’s For Tea whipped up a batch of delicious treacle scones! His are always better than mine…so I got him to make them :D Everything I used will be listed below.

Makes 6-7 scones (using a 5cm cutter)

* 200g (7oz) Self raising flour
* 1 Teaspoon baking powder
* 30g (1 oz) Caster sugar - granulated sugar would also be fine
* 1/2 Teaspoon salt
* 60g (2 oz) Cold butter
* 2 Tablespoons black treacle
* 100ml (3.5 floz) Milk
* Extra flour for your work surface
