For the last few months, I've been sharing videos about composition, talking about different approaches to composition, the role composition has in making a great landscape image, and what you can do to improve your composition skills and create great landscape photos.

In this landscape photography tutorial vido, I talk about what you should consider and things you can do to discover those interesting compositions that create wonderful and engaging landscape images.

Your ability to find an engaging composition in a location comes down to your Observation Skills. Instead of jumping straight into trying to find a composition, I find it's often better to take a moment to observe the environment.

I've broken the Process of Observation down into three stages: Discover, Identification, and Translation.
