A woman who Harris County Sheriff’s Office officials say hindered their pursuit of her son after he escaped custody stood before a judge today.
Investigators say Nigel Sanders, 35, was found hiding behind a couch in his mother’s home on Force Street in the Cloverleaf area of east Harris County. She was later identified by the Sheriff’s Office as 52-year-old Kathryn Gomez Sanders.
Now, she could be a convicted felon.
