Insecure musician disclaimer: This was not intended to be a ‘cover’ and was never supposed to be heard. It was done for a friend who asked for it. That friend is playing drums on it. Other than drums, everything else is me. This is literally the only time I have ever sung or played this song... I never used to sing along with it because I thought Ian’s voice was too high for me. This was a sort of place holder vocal, but it was not terrible. Also, those guitar videos are the actual recording performances and I learned it for this and never played it again (I rarely learn my favorite music as a matter of choice). The real tune has a lot more going on in it. Done a couple of years ago on a rare day off.
Ok, all disclaimers aside, hope you dig it. I can’t express the importance of this Big Wreck record to me. It is top 5 (maybe 3) records of all time. Top to bottom, some of my favorite music ever captured. This is a novel idea, a whole album of good songs... anyone remember those days?
