We have 200GB of unreleased footage from our Canada to Australia journey, so we thought we'd sporadically share some insight into what we do out on the ocean (or, what we do when we're not driving around Byron Bay listening to Simon and Garfunkel!)

This our maiden sail aboard Narhval!
1500 nautical miles off the coast of Mexico, heading 270 degrees west towards Hawaii, when a freak wave crashes over the deck during Captain's night watch.

We also discover we've blown a hank due to running downwind. The twisting motion on the forestay (although well-greased) was constantly wearing them down.

First mate has collected all of the worn hanks from the journey and is currently in the process of making hank necklaces to sell in the hope of funding our next journey!
