The Wench Is Now Captain !!

So First mate eventually saved up and bought a boat of her very own.

Built in Sarawak, Borneo in 1974 she is made from old growth forest ironwood.

Here is an eagerly anticipated look at Eryn’s new vessel Merissa (formally Sri Ulu).

Disappointingly, the original crew who Eryn had arrive to help her in far north North Queensland, almost sunk the boat and made off with the raw footage of the original interviews with locals who knew the rich history of the boat, the sale, the hard grind of two months initial work…

With time, the pieces will begin to fit together.
