Chordplay - The Chords Of KIX

Hey everyone! Here's the next episode of Chordplay with The Chords Of KIX. I've had a number of requests to feature some of KIX's music and they recently wrapped their 2023 Farewell Tour a few days ago, so I felt this episode would be a worthy tribute to this notable hard rock band. KIX formed in Maryland in 1976, but it wasn't until the early/mid-1980s that they found an audience and released a number of popular albums and singles. Many of them were regularly spun on MTV's Headbanger's Ball back in the day.

The chord-based and rhythm guitar examples in this lesson include a number of familiar tracks and deep cuts, including the rowdy rock riffing from songs such as Atomic Bombs, Midnite Dynamite, Piece Of The Pie, Scarlet Fever, Red Lite Green Lite TNT, and Yeah Yeah Yeah - to name a few.
