Today, we are reviewing the new Salsa Blackthorn and Cassidy mountain bikes. Salsa Cycles is not typically known for long travel, aggressive, super enduro-style mountain bikes. So when we heard they were coming out 2 brand new enduro-style bikes, we couldn't help but get excited. We have been testing them both for the past few months and have been seriously impressed. The Blackthorn is your typical enduro bike with 140mm rear and 160mm front travel. Whereas the Cassidy is what many consider a "super enduro" bike, 165mm in the rear and 180mm in the front. Oh, and did we mention that they utilize Dave Weagle's infamous DW link suspension? Clearly, Salsa means business because neither of these bikes is for the faint of heart.
