Todays video i'm showing you how to test the Crank Position on a 1999 Tj with a 4.0 engine. The new TJ's the Crank Position sensor is on the Transmission passenger side. This test can be done without a scope to see if the sensor works or not. You will not be able to see a waveform that you would on a scope but with using the powerprobe 4 you'll be able to see the voltage. you need to slowly crank the engine by hand and verify that the sensor reads 5v then 0, 5 volts then 0
