Hyundai Verna starts at ₹ 8.18 lakh - ₹ 14.10 (Ex-showroom, New Delhi). It comes with 13 versions in total and the Verna till now was only available with the 1.6-litre petrol and diesel powertrains and now with the 1.4-litre petrol and diesel also because now Verna is available with the 1.4-litre engine in two variants E and EX with petrol and diesel.
The fifth-gen Verna was launched in August 2017 and since then has been raking in sales for the company. Till date, it has received over 30,000 bookings and 2,00,000 inquiries in India and over 10,500 Units of export order from global markets.

In Australia, the first generation models carried over the Hyundai Excel name used by the Accent's predecessor. The Accent was replaced in 2000 by the Hyundai Verna in South Korea, although most international markets, including the US, retained the "Accent" name.
The fifth generation Accent has been introduced in China as Verna in late 2016. Production began in the same year with sales started around February 2017. In Russia (where it is known as Solaris), as well as in some other CIS markets, the car has been available since March 2017. In India the car was launched in August 2017 as Hyundai Verna. It went on sale in the United States in December 2017. Unlike the previous generations, the fifth generation Accent is not offered in the South Korean market; instead, the Venue crossover takes its place in 2019.

Hyundai Verna has become more accessible. It is close to Rs 2 lakh cheaper than the 1.6-litre petrol version and will prove to be a value for money proposition. The 1.4 L Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine is offered with an output of 99 bhp and 132 Nm of torque. Hyundai claims that the powertrain is now more fuel efficient and stands at 19.1 kmpl which is an improvement of 8 percent from before. The 1.4-litre engine will be offered with the 6-Speed manual transmission only.
