Recipe:

Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter (or 1 1/2 sticks)
1 1/4 cups white sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 large bananas, mashed
1 tsp vanilla extract (or amaretto)
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cornstarch
1 3/4 cups chocolate chips
Flaked salt (for sprinkling)

Instructions:
Whip up the butter and white sugar in a mixer with a paddle attachment until light and fluffy.
Add the egg, mashed bananas, and vanilla (or amaretto) and mix until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, baking soda, and cornstarch.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.

Refrigerate for 30 mins. Set oven to 350 degrees.

Scoop cookies onto a baking sheet spaced 2 inches apart, and sprinkle with flaked salt.

Bake for 14-16 minutes or until golden brown and set.
