Among BMW enthusiasts, one says "E60 M5" and the other's immediate response tends to be "rod bearings!" preceded by a colorful expletive.

I went in with both eyes open, and I try to keep things in perspective. Its V10 - after all - is the most insane engine BMW has ever or will ever put into a car. It's bound to be high maintenance!
