I left home to live off grid in a 7 square meters cabin

I left the place I used to call Home for the past months. To go and experience a minimalistic way of living. Living off grid in a cabin has already taught me a bunch.

It still hits me everyday, to see how much comfort I grew up in. And to see how much effort it actually takes to achieve normal daily tasks.
Today I can say that I do absolutely everything by hand, without the help of any technology.

To be honest, my feeling about that is pretty paradoxical: on one hand it feels really exhausting. I feel tired of having a lot of my time being consumed, in doing things I usually didn’t have to worry about before.

On the other hand, I love it. Living with very little feels uplifting. Because I feel free. I'm not depending on anything I don't have control over. And it's rewarding! To enjoy the fruit of all this time & effort I'm investing in.

Freedom is from very far, my magic word. Living off grid makes me feel a little more Free each day. ♡
