The Final Wish - Trails Through Daybreak - Let's Play Part 18 - Chapter 1 Ending

Our playthrough of Trails Through Daybreak nightmare difficulty continues! That's right ladies and gentlemen our journey through the Legend Of Heroes Trails Through Daybreak is here for the foreseeable future, as we trek across the Calvardian Empire in a completely new saga in the long running Kiseki series. So buckle up for a JRPG marathon of epic proportions filled with twists and turns, memorable heroes and villains as well as one of the best ost in gaming!

Hope i didn't upset you guys too much leaving the last episode on a cliffhanger as big as that! But i had no choice as sadly combined the video would have been almost an hour long and i can't justify taking up that much of your precious time! Anyway last episode the epic ending to chapter 1 began as we finally discover what exactly happened to Aida and why she's doing what she's doing. Sadly for Feri's sake especially it was far worse than we could have imagined, Aida the Flameaters Jaeger squad got utterly decimated by a group of savages. Lead by three leaders of which one we now know was Melchior Of The Thorns, the creepy green haired man who had travelled to Creil Village on the bus we saved earlier in the day. Sadly Melchior wasn't done with his torment of Aida and activacted the Genesis located atop the pillar, to commence the next "experiment" What this test is for we have no idea. But we don't have the time to think as Aida is finally robbed of last remnants of her sanity and alongside her Squad of Ghouls, launches an attack on Van Agnes and Feri.

After getting completely destroyed in our first attempt we finally overcame the onslaught by simply spamming S-Crafts, which we can all agree is a tried and tested Kiseki method for guarenteed victory! Our struggle wasn't in vain however as we manage to bring Aida back to reality, but it's not over yet due to how entertaining the fight was for Melchior he demands an encore! however who should show up but our favourite evil Enforcer Walter the Direwolf, who had finally caught up to us after having dispatched all of the berserk military monsters who had attacked Creil Village. Finally with his prey insight Walter wastes zero time in launching his attack to take out the demented traveller.

However Walter was too late and Melchior Of The Thorns was able to fully unleash the power hidden within the Genesis, which in turn fully corrupts Aida transforming her into a giant Ghoul aptly named the "Famished Flameeater". In a fit of pure rage she charges against her sister Feri forcing Van to jump in the way to take the hit, in doing so Van is launched back and is severly injured as a result. But we have an ace in the hole ladies and gentlemen as time freezes yet again with the arrival of Mare, who once again asks Van one simple question! Will you bare the nightmare?!

Can we turn the tide back into our favour with the power of the Grendel, which has been empowered by Feri due to her overwhelming emotion. Or will we fail in our attempt to grant Aida's final wish?

What will happen after all of this is over as well, will Feri be able to return back to her life as a Jaeger? Or will she stay with Van Arkride Solutions to help grow her power? Only one way to find out ladies and gentlemen so buckle up for the explosive final of chapter 1 in Trails Through Daybreak.
