Contrapoints is Wrong About Free Speech and Trans Kids | Witch Trials of JK Rowling Response

Contrapoints recently uploaded a video titled The Witch Trials of JK Rowling in which she expands upon her previous JK Rowling video and on her appearance on The Free Press's Witch Trials of JK Rowling podcast. In this video, Contrapoints (Natalie Wynn) posits contradictory arguments on free speech, the marketplace of ideas, deplatforming, cancel culture, persuasion, and de-radicalization. She defends illiberal methods of making change in the field of social justice while denigrating debate and "civil conversation" and arguing against what she calls toxic centrism and alleged centrists like Megan Phelps Roper. In this video, I go through Contrapoints points on indirect bigotry, her stance on trans kids and children transitioning, and most importantly, her condemnation of free speech and debate.
