MBTA 'the T' - Old and New Orange Line trains at Ruggles and Roxbury Crossing - 11/3/21

The MBTA is slowly accepting new deliveries of the new CRRC 1400-series Orange Line cars. In this video we have both of the old and new Orange Line cars serving station stops at Ruggles and Roxbury Crossing. Note how there is a special station announcement announcing when the next approaching train is one of the new ones.

The new cars are being built at a CRRC manufacturing plant in Springfield, MA. This is the same company that is building CTA's new 7000 series 'L' cars in the Hegewisch neighborhood of Chicago's far south side.
