VW Golf MK7 (5G) Error: cornering light (AFS) fix

Описание к видео VW Golf MK7 (5G) Error: cornering light (AFS) fix

Most common issue with the cornering light system (#AFS) is broken bulb. Even if your car is equipped with dynamic headlights that will rotate the bixenon projectors according to the steering wheel position, still there are two H7 bulbs for static cornering lights. Both those bulbs need to be working in order for the system to work properly.
If you have "#Error: cornering light (AFS)" message on the instrument cluster and/or on the infotainment display, then one of the first things that you should check are those bulbs. It's a quick and easy fix.

ℹ️ In this video I've intentionally disconnected one of the bulbs to cause the AFS error message in Volkswagen #GolfMK7. You can see that as soon as the bulb is replaced, error message disappears. There's no need of using diagnostic interface like OBDeleven or VCDS but most likely there will be a static code in the central electrics module memory.

ℹ️ H7 static cornering bulbs are also used as additional lights when car is in reverse.
