[1:37] Buying Easter Egg Dyeing Kits for Dyeing Yarn
[2:09] Presoaking the fiber in the dyebath
Cover the 200 g of roving with enough liquid to just barely cover it.
1 cup of white vinegar + 7 cups of water
Presoak for at least an hour
[4:13] Adding the pellets to the cold fiber
[7:05] Heating the fiber
add more liquid from a mix of 7 cups of water + 1 cup white vinegar - add as needed to the edges
[9:49] After 15 minutes
help work the colors through the fiber
[15:22] Adding more acid
heat for an additional 30 minutes
[16:09] Let the fiber cool
[17:35] Washing the roving
[20:59] The finished dry roving and conclusions
