[0:00] The Alla Prima Yarn Base
[2:44] Presoaking the yarn
[4:11] The dye colors
Dharma acid dyes in Ballerina Pink, Espresso Bean, Peach Blush, and Berry Crush
[4:30] The dye bath
8 cups of water + 2 T white vinegar
[5:35] Dyeing the yarn
using dry powder and then spreading the dyes out a little on the yarn
I added more acid near the beginning of dyeing to really help things stay where I've placed them
Let the yarn sit on the counter for 15 minutes
[16:22] Heat setting the color
[19:26] Flipping the yarn after 30 minutes of heat
Turn off the heat and let the yarn cool completely
[21:13] Washing the yarn
[23:13] The finished dry yarn and conclusions
