LOCH ETIVE - A family sea kayaking adventure

A 3 day expedition up Loch Etive in the Scottish Highlands by sea kayak at Easter time. This is the film of a family adventure with 3 teenage sons. We experienced beautifully calm conditions as well as a hailstorm and Force 4 winds. Two wild camps with cooking over open fires on the shores was a big part of the experience. A lot of preparation goes into a trip of this kind, including training trips with the boys; dehydrating food for the expedition; sorting and packing lots of kit and making the long journey North. Fortunately it was all worth it on this trip and we got 3 good days in a beautiful and wild location before quitting while we were ahead and making the long journey home to wash and sort all the kit again. After many hours editing I now have the film to show you. I now prefer a longer film format to really allow viewers to immerse themselves in the experience of what the trip was like.
