Sea Kayaking Wild Camping Loch Etive, (Cadderlie bothy) West Highlands, Scotland - Dagger Stratos

A couple of days paddling one of Scotland's most beautiful sea lochs in typical Scottish weather. Lovely blue, sunny skies, warm and dry, and then windy, torrential rain and bitterly cold... and it kept changing between them.

Fabulous landscape and wildlife with shots (albeit distant shots) of an otter and seals. Also, sightings of porpoises and raptors, as well as numerous other birds. A veritable Paradise... although the weather certainly could've been better.

The, 'pot of gold at the end of the rainbow' that I mention, as the Buachaille Etive Mor and Buachaille Etive Beag, are two hills close to my heart. The 'Beag' (or wee Buachaille) was my final 'Munro' - Scottish mountain over 3,000' - which I ascended with friends and family and the 'Mor' (or simply, the Bookil) is one of my favourite hills, have climbed many different rock and ice routes on it's numerous faces. It's the big pointy one next to the main road as you drive through Glencoe.

Spent the night in Cadderlie bothy.
