Here's a quick breakdown on the throwing shoes that I use and the reason why they're necessary for me to compete at my best. Although they're not required, throwing shoes are one of the staples in any great thrower's arsenal to ensure quality technique and the potential for some big throws.

BONUS: I go through some of my favorite throwing shoes that I've used during my career, including some Olympic editions and even a special surprise shoe at the end!
