I guess this guy would kind of be the Magus of this game.

There's been a handful of mentions of him throughout the game and the ghost ship has been a major part of the story plus he has a unique opening to his song before the fight actually begins... now if I could get him to actually join my team at the endgame that'd be awesome but I kinda doubt it.
