My Top 5 Lessons Learnt for Model Railway/Railroad Layouts

This video highlights my top 5 lessons learnt from the construction of my layout over the past 4 years. I think the lessons learnt are fairly transferable for most layouts, so if you are just setting out or thinking about setting out, please take a look. 1:41 Lesson 2 - Ensure you have cleaning access to long tunneled sections
2:34 Lesson 3 - If possible have at least 2 running loops (2nd radius curves or greater)
3:34 Lesson 4 - Have steep gradients by all means, but be very careful at transitions from slopes to flats
