Vadhya Milan is a project curated by Veena Venkatramani, a veena artiste.

The project, which is one-of-a-kind, aims to explore the collaboration possibilities between the carnatic instrument - Veena - and other instruments, across the 10 days of Navarathri. Through this project, Veena has brought together 15 other artistes from across India, and a total of 12 musical instruments, comprising both Carnatic and Hindustani instruments.

Today's video, on Day 1 of Navarathri, brings together the Veena and the Nadaswaram, also featuring the Thavil.

As the first of the series, this video features the kriti Sri Mahaganapathi Ravatu Mam - Gowlai - Misra Chapu - composed by Muthuswamy Dikshitar.
