Degi Aloo Gosht Recipe | شادیوں والا آلو گوشت | Easy Aloo Gosht Recipe | Meraamskitchen
Ingredients:

- 1 kg chicken
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 green chilies
- 2 onions
- Half cup oil
- 2 potatoes
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 3 red chilies
- Spices:
- 1.5 tablespoons salt
- Half teaspoon red chili powder
- Half teaspoon turmeric powder
- Half teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder
- 1 thick clove
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- Half teaspoon black pepper
- Half teaspoon star anise
- Half teaspoon coriander
- Half teaspoon cumin
- 4-5 cloves
- Half cup yogurt
- Fenugreek leaves (for garnish)
- Hot spice powder (for serving)

Instructions:

1. Wash and prepare all ingredients.
2. Blend tomatoes and green chilies into a smooth paste.
3. Chop onions and cut potatoes into desired shapes.
4. Heat half cup oil in a clay kadai or large pot over medium heat.
5. Add onions and cook until they change color.
6. Add ginger garlic paste and spices, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
7. Add tomato paste and cook until water evaporates and oil separates.
8. Add chicken and cook until color changes.
9. Cover and steam for 10 minutes.
10. Add potatoes and cook for 5 minutes over the same flame.
11. Add yogurt and mix well, then cook over medium flame until yogurt water evaporates.
12. Add 1 cup water and proven chilies, then cook for 5-7 minutes or until gravy thickens.
13. Garnish with Fenugreek leaves and sprinkle Hot spice powder before serving.

Ready to serve!
