Bangladeshi garment workers to be hit hard as retailers cancel or delay payments | ABC News

Retail has been one of the major casualties of the Covid-19 pandemic and clothing companies have taken a significant hit to their bottom line.

But for the low paid garment workers of Bangladesh it's a blow to their survival as retailers around the world refuse to honour orders and suspend their payments.

Australia's Mosaic Brands, which owns a host of labels including Rivers, Katies and Rockmans, has delayed payments to some factories by up to eight months.
