警告 ( 更新於2018年9月21日）：
深水灣泳灘被「山竹」吹襲後 ，受到嚴重破壞，現時暫停開放。
大量沙被吹進沙灘一個淋浴間，沙堆疊至近天花位置，岸邊亦堆滿垃圾。附近一條直徑150毫米的污水壓力喉管在颱風襲港時斷裂，在燒烤場對出水面有一段黑色的喉管漂浮，環保署呼籲市民應避免在鄰近海域進行水上活動、垂釣或抽取海水。

ALERT ( updated on 21-Sept-2018):
The beach is closed and under repair.
Severe Typhoon Mangkhut battered the city on 16 Sept, 2018. Raw sewage has been leaking into the sea near Deep Water Bay and Shek O, and the Environmental Protection Department said it will take around three weeks to repair broken pipes. It is not suggested to swim, fish or engage in any watersports in these areas for the time being.

睇到新聞好心酸，尼條片正正係山竹颱風來臨前一日拍既，懷住一個好開心既心情同大家分享，點知一個颱風後明目全非。本身諗住吾剪，無理由我介紹一個地方又叫人吾好去，但尼D片紀錄左深水灣打風前既原貌，係有佢既紀念價值，所以都係懷住一個矛盾既心情剪好尼段片。

大家短期內都吾好去深水灣游水，直到康文署宣佈重開先好去！希望清理同維修工作完成後，泳灘可以回恢原貌。
