Located in the Northern side of Holguín in Cuba, Loma de la Cruz is one of the most visited places in this city. The first cross was placed at the top of this hill in 1790 with the hope of ending the severe drought. There are 458 steps to get to the top but if you don't feel like hiking you can also drive since there's a road that takes you there. It is not a difficult hike and once at the top you'll get treated with a spectacular view of Holguín.
