Three big ol' waltzes . . . !

A grandiose endeavour of rather encumbered proportions.

I. Waltz for a Tulip (C Minor)
-› A lyrical, longing melody with harplike repose in the B section. Ends grand and cataclysmic, or maybe it ends gently and reposeful?

II. Slow Waltz in a Starry Sky (A Major)
-› Measured, elegant steps taken with cosmic pebbles of sound. W h a t
Gets a bit more "waltzy" in the middle, and concludes drifting away among the stars of night.

III. Waltz in a Fantastic Flight (Valse-Fantaisie) (G Minor)
-› Agitated yet deft leaps and bounds whirl around into a cautious dance teetering between frenzied and lyric moods . . . it turns out it's really hard to write memorable melodies~
A rubato middle section lapses back, and a surprise coda combines A and B themes in a flurry of ways. Hear echoes of a floral waltz toward the end . . .?
