James Goes Shopping & Fendt 1167 Test Drive! New Gear, Equipment Woes & Harvest Students Farewell

Glynn, our dedicated ploughman, finally gets behind the wheel of the Fendt 1167 and instantly falls in love with its performance! Meanwhile, James has been on a shopping spree, adding a new Horsch Terrano to our lineup to help us catch up with the cultivations and get ready for the next big push.

It's also a bittersweet moment on the farm as we say goodbye to our harvest students, who are off on their next adventures. But the work doesn't stop! With our Fendt crawlers finally fixed, new problems have cropped up with the Fendt tractors, and with parts stuck in France, it's becoming a major headache. The Mercedes Unimog remains down with an ECU fault, adding to the ongoing equipment challenges.

Sandy steps in on Glynn’s Challenger to help with mole draining, but the tight land is causing heavy wear and tear, forcing us to replace parts more frequently than planned. The good news? Work is progressing on our new barn to house all the machinery while the weather holds up, and we’ve started processing and bagging our farm-safe seed in preparation for the imminent drilling campaign.
