2 Trains Racing/Running Side By Side! RR Maintenance Of Way Equipment Galore & Caboose Leading Train

Man On Bike Almost Raced Train To Crossing At 14:05! Norfolk Southern Train With Railroad Maintenance Of Way Equipment Of All Types Races A CSX Auto Racks Train With DPU Locomotive In The Middle! Boxcars With Roll Up Doors! What Is This Stuff? Defect Detector & Audio At RR Crossing. Caboose With Cool Whistle At Railroad Crossing With Conductor Riding The Platform To Protect The Move. This is some cool stuff son! Another Norfolk Southern intermodal train with double stacks passes a railroad crossing by the abandoned paper mills. There is all kinds of stuff in this short video. Tell me what your favorite part is.
The first train is a Gigantic CSX auto racks train with a mid train DPU. While this train is passing the railroad crossing to the water plant a Norfolk Southern train shows up going in the same direction. Now we have Norfolk Southern racing CSX to Cincinnati. The Norfolk Southern train has all kinds of maintenance of way equipment including very old boxcars with interesting doors. Have you ever seen boxcars like these? This is some cool stuff not to mention that the MOW train has about everything you need to work on railroad track. I did make a couple of #shorts videos with this material so it might look familiar. We also see my radio up close while the defect detector is activated. The detector is right next to me and operates on 160.230 and gives the axle count.
Then we go a couple miles to the south on the same line and catch a local switching train returning to the yard at New Miami, Ohio. This train is led by a platform caboose with the conductor riding and using the air line to whistle for the railroad crossing. Is this cool or what?! Notice the air line dragging over the crossing from the caboose.
The last train is a double stack intermodal train. It is a Norfolk Southern train on the CSX tracks while it is heading to the New Castle Sub in Indiana. Did you see the man on the bicycle at 14:05? He was racing that train to the crossing but then changed his mind at the last second and turned around right when he got to the first track. Good thing he changed his mind because he would not have beat that train. I didn't want to film that so I kept the camera turned to the left just enough to get him out of the picture for a few seconds.
The MOW train was really cool. Notice in the outro that I filmed the other side of the MOW train in town. The video also shows the pets doing their thing and we have a short slide show.
