Lake District Walks | Around Tarn Hows (in both directions!)

Описание к видео Lake District Walks | Around Tarn Hows (in both directions!)

On a snowy (and windy) day in February 2022, just after Storms Arwen, Dudley, Eunice and Franklin had blown through leaving a trail of broken trees in their wake, Neil visits Tarn Hows, between Ambleside and Coniston. Tarn Hows is a much-loved tourist spot in the English Lake District, and its circular walk is accessible for many visitors (more details can be found on the National Trust website, here: www.nationaltrust.org.uk/tarn-hows-and-coniston ).

The Lake District National Park also has a great guide to Tarn Hows as part of its Miles Without Stiles routes - 50 routes across the National Park suitable for people with limited mobility, including wheelchair users, families with pushchairs, and the visually impaired: www.lakedistrict.gov.uk/visiting/things-to-do/walking/mileswithoutstiles/mws13
