Hello everyone, and welcome back to our channel! I am delighted to have you here for another insightful discussion. A topic has been weighing on my mind recently that I believe warrants an in-depth exploration. Today, I want to delve into the complex world of the narcissist's new "Supply" - essentially their new partner, be it a girlfriend or boyfriend. The transition to a new partner can be an incredibly painful scenario to witness, leaving many questions unanswered.

Often, I am asked: Will this person ever change? Are they content in their new relationship? What was it about me that drove them to abandon our relationship and hastily dive into a new one? These questions can often lead to self-blame and a deep yearning to understand if the narcissist is genuinely happy in their new relationship.

Let's begin at the very start. Can this person truly change? The answer is a resounding no. If one has a solid understanding of narcissistic abuse and the cyclical nature of such abuse, it is clear how this game is orchestrated. You've seen the game played out firsthand, having been a part of it for quite some time.

In the initial stages of the relationship, narcissists employ tactics such as love bombing, where they shower their new partner with affection and attention. They meticulously groom their victim, crafting an image of themselves that aligns perfectly with the victim's desires. They may even pretend to be a modern-day Prince Charming, engaging in romantic gestures and other acts to win over their new partner. In a previous video, which I have linked below, I discuss in detail the stark contrast between the honeymoon phase in a healthy relationship and the love bombing phase in a narcissistically abusive one. I highly recommend you watch it if you're unclear about the differences.

If you have been a victim of this abusive cycle, you would understand how it operates. As such, you'd also realize that it's virtually impossible for your ex-partner to maintain a healthy relationship with anyone. It doesn't matter if their new partner is the epitome of perfection, the relationship is bound to be abusive, toxic, and unhealthy. This is primarily because narcissists lack two crucial elements essential for a healthy relationship.
